1. PM performs darshan and pooja at Sanwariya Seth Temple in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan

- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited the Sanwariya Seth Temple in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
About Sanwariya Seth Temple:
- Sanwariya Seth Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.
- It primarily features Lord Krishna in his child form as “Sanwariya Seth” or “Sanwara Krishna.”
- These temples are predominantly found in Northern India, especially in Rajasthan.
- The Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple in Mandaphia, Rajasthan, is one of the most famous Sanwariya Seth Temples.
- Devotees visit these temples to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna and offer prayers and offerings.
- The temples are often known for their beautiful decorations and provide a serene and spiritual atmosphere for worshipers.

2. Indian Coast Guard Pollution-Control Vessel Samudra Prahari visits Indonesia.

Context:
- The Indian Coast Guard Ship Samudra Prahari, a Pollution-Control Vessel, arrived at Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 1, 2023.
- This visit is part of India’s ASEAN initiatives for Marine Pollution Response, demonstrating India’s commitment to addressing regional marine pollution threats.
About Samudra Prahari:
- Samudra Prahari is a specialized Pollution-Control Vessel operated by the Indian Coast Guard.
- It is designed and equipped to respond to marine pollution threats and incidents.
- The ship arrived at the port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of India’s efforts to address regional marine pollution challenges.
- It has a Chetak Helicopter in Pollution Response configuration, enhancing its pollution response capabilities.
- As part of an overseas exchange program, the ship carries 13 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets who participate in activities like beach clean-ups, contributing to international collaboration in environmental conservation.

3. Shri Narendra Modi inaugurates tourist facilities at Nathdwara as part of Krishna circuit of Swadesh Darshan scheme.

Context:
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple projects of the Government of India, which included “tourist facilities at Nathdwara.”
- These tourism facilities at Nathdwara were funded by the Ministry of Tourism as part of the Krishna circuit of the Swadesh Darshan scheme.
- The Ministry of Tourism sanctioned Rs. 23.59 Crore for the development of tourism facilities at Nathdwara.
About Swadesh Darshan scheme:
- Objective: Promote tourism in India by developing infrastructure and facilities at tourist destinations.
- Circuit-Based Approach: Focus on thematic circuits covering destinations with common themes.
- Funding: Ministry of Tourism provides funding, often through central assistance.
- Components: Develop tourist interpretation centers, cultural centers, heritage walkways, etc.
- Public-Private Partnership: Encourage private sector participation in infrastructure development.
- Job Creation: Contributes to job creation and economic development in regions.
- Sustainable Tourism: There is an emphasis on promoting sustainable tourism practices to ensure the preservation of natural and cultural heritage while catering to the needs of tourists.
- Progress Monitoring: Projects under the Swadesh Darshan scheme are monitored for their progress and impact to ensure that they meet their objectives and are completed within specified timelines.
