Union Budget 2024-2025
Since it is an election year, the government has not produced full budget but has produced an Interim Budget. In such a situation, generally, the budget is passed by Vote on account under the provisions of Article 116.
Union Budget 2023-2024
The term Budget is a generic statement given to a number of documents, which includes the Annual Financial Statement. Article 112 makes it a constitutional obligation upon the Government to lay a statement of the estimated receipts and expenditures in the Parliament.
