Anadapala’s army was led by his son, Trilochanapala. Hindu Shahis suffered a humiliating defeat.

It was a humiliating defeat for Anandapal. Later, Anandapal proposed a peace treaty with Mahmud which was accepted. By the treaty, the Hindu Shahis became a feudatory of Mahmud.
