The Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque, built by Sher Shah Suri, is an important religious structure located inside the fort. It exhibits a unique blend of Islamic and Hindu architectural elements. There is also a large artificial lake called the Sher Mandal, which was initially used by Emperor Humayun as a library and observatory.
