Additional information on this news:

  • The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the “PRITHvi VIgyan (PRITHVI)” scheme of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, with a total cost of Rs. 4,797 crore for implementation from 2021-26.
