1.India and UAE aspire to expand bilateral trade to US$ 100 Billion: Sh. Piyush Goyal

2. Year End Review 2023: Ministry of Tribal Affairs

  • Allocation of Rs. 1,17,943.73 crore for the Development Action Plan for Scheduled Tribes (DAPST) for FY 2023-24.

  • Disbursement of scholarships to 32.22 lakh tribal students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
  • Inauguration of Eklavya Model Residential Schools and educational tours for EMRS students.

Land Rights and Forest Rights Act:

  • Distribution of 23.43 lakh land titles totaling over 1.8 crore acres under the Forest Rights Act.
  • Efforts to protect and empower Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) through special initiatives.

International Collaborations and Showcases:

  • Collaboration with Amazon India for the ‘Amazon Future Engineer Programme’ in EMRSs.
  • Recognition of tribal heritage and craftsmanship at the G20 Summit with a focus on quality education in Eklavya Model Residential Schools.
